Paws Resort Australian Quarantine Station
All cats and dogs being imported to Australia from South Africa must spend a total period of 210 days in quarantine.
This comprises a minimum of 90 days pre-export Quarantine in South Africa and a minimum of 30 days in Australian Quarantine.
The remaining 90 days quarantine can be spent in either the South African or Australian quarantine stations.
Paws Resort Quarantine Station is set in 2 acres of garden within the Paws Resort property. Loads of shady trees and acres of landscaped gardens provide for a calm and peaceful environment for dogs and cats to relax in whilst kennelled here. Travel arrangements are done through Pets en Transit to provide you with a seamless service.

- Kennelling: as per AQIS and DACEL bio-security regulations
- Blood testing & Bio-security protocol as per AQIS regulations
- AQIS import permit applications
- DACEL export permit application and export certification
- AQIS quarantine kennel reservation
- Flight reservation and Flight forwarding confirmation
- IPATA approved travel crates - sized for your pet
- Transport to Jhb International, check-in and handling
