Quarantine Services

QUARANTINE SERVICES PROVIDED BY PAWS RESORT AND PETS-EN-TRANSIT

Below is a list of all the services which are included in your quotation.

  • Australian Import permits and associated application fees
  • South African Government RNATT endorsement
  • South African Government Export Certification
  • Pre export blood tests required within 30 days prior to transport
  • Supply of IPATA approved crates, size as per measurements of pets
  • Final vet visit CERT A, and treatments
  • Airline and export surcharges
  • Export documentation (air waybill)
  • Bookings, arranging of itinerary & connections, and confirmation of flight reservations
  • Experienced handling and secure ground transfers
  • Delivery to the airport, check in and handling
  • CERT B and crate sealing
  • Air freight from Johannesburg through to Australia - service provided by "Pets-en-Transit"
  • Customs clearance fees
  • Pickup and delivery to the Quarantine station
  • Inbound airline terminal fees
  • Quarantine entry fees
  • Government authority vet visit on arrival
  • Customs notification of safe arrival
  • 30 days minimum quarantine in Australia

Our Quotation INCLUDES the following Veterinary services:

  • Official RNATT blood test (Rabies anti body blood test) on arrival
  • Ehrlichiosis test on arrival as well as on departure
  • All required blood tests 30 days prior to departure as per AQIS requirements
  • Internal and external parasite treatments including Foray 28 days prior to departure

Our Quotation EXCLUDES the following services:

  • Additional Veterinary fees in South Africa or Australia including repeating blood tests due to failed test results
  • AQIS fees once in Australia- including Boarding & Vet Visits
  • Booster vaccinations & microchip insertion
  • Geriatric profile for pets over the age of 7years

Validity:

Quotations are valid for 30 days and are based on a Monday-Friday move within normal business hours. Pets are cage sized upon collection, if upon cage sizing either of the dogs require a different size cage, a complete new quote will be required as the volume of the crates determines the airfare component of the quote.
