Orthopaedic Post-Operative Kennelling

We do provide post-operative recovery kennelling for pets that have undergone orthopaedic operations and require movement restriction and/or physiotherapy as part of their recovery and rehabilitation regimen. We have specialised kennels which restrict their amount of activity appropriately, with special synthetic grass as a comfortable non-slip surface. We work with several qualified mobile pet physiotherapists to provide your pets with the rehabilitative care they may require.

We also do wound management and bandage changes as required. Does the post-operative home care required for your pet overwhelm you? Let us take care of it for you. We will treat them as carefully and as lovingly as you would. We have the best bedside manner!

High Care Kennelling

Does your special pet require chronic medication, or special therapy on a daily basis? Does he or she have a chronic illness that needs constant supervision* and management? Have you been nervous to go away on holiday because of this?

 

Your worries are over, because we can take care of your beloved pet and his/her special needs with all the care, knowledge and understanding that we as vets can offer.

 

If emergency treatment should be required at any time during their stay, we would be able to take them to one of our local animal hospitals which are five minutes away for the full spectrum of medical and surgical emergency treatment they may need.

* Please note that although Dr Page does check high care boarders periodically between close of business at 5pm until late in the evening, we do not currently have the facility to provide 24 hour supervision, so if your pet requires 24 hour supervision, we recommend you approach a 24 hour veterinary hospital to enquire about boarding your pet while you are away.
